Most ideas start with something ordinary: a small inconvenience, a hobby, or something we wish worked a little better. If we would not keep it on our own phones, there is probably more work to do.아이디어는 대부분 아주 평범한 곳에서 시작합니다. 조금 불편했던 것, 좋아하는 것, 혹은 지금보다 조금 더 편했으면 했던 것. 우리도 계속 쓰고 싶지 않다면 아직 더 고칠 게 남았다고 생각합니다.
Clear over clever.영리해 보이기보다, 쉽게.
Wording, spacing, order, one extra tap. Small decisions change how an app feels, so we spend a lot of time on things that may not look important at first.문장 하나, 간격 하나, 버튼의 순서, 한 번 더 눌러야 하는 과정. 처음에는 사소해 보여도 실제로 쓸 때는 이런 부분이 꽤 크게 느껴집니다. 그래서 작은 부분도 오래 보고 고칩니다.

There is no single big idea behind OVEN. We make one thing, learn from it, and move on to the next with a little more experience than before.OVEN을 설명하는 하나의 거창한 아이디어는 없습니다. 하나를 만들고, 거기서 배운 다음, 조금 더 나아진 상태로 다음 것을 만듭니다.
Why Oven
Made because we wanted it to exist.있었으면 해서 만들었습니다.
OVEN started while I was taking some time away from art school.OVEN은 미술대학을 잠시 쉬고 있던 시기에 시작했습니다.
I had more questions than answers, so I decided to spend the time making things instead of only thinking about what came next.앞으로 무엇을 해야 할지 생각할수록 질문만 많아져서, 그 시간 동안 생각만 하기보다 직접 만들어보기로 했어요.
One idea became F1ow. Then came TOMATO, Duey, and a few more still in progress.첫 번째가 F1ow였고, 그다음 TOMATO와 Duey가 생겼습니다. 아직 만들고 있는 것들도 몇 개 있고요.
The name came somewhere in between.OVEN이라는 이름은 그 사이에 자연스럽게 붙었습니다.
For now, OVEN is a place to make things, use them, refine them, and see what deserves to stay.지금의 OVEN은 아이디어를 실제로 만들어보고, 직접 써보고, 계속 다듬으면서 무엇을 남길지 알아가는 곳입니다.

I'm Emily, an art student currently taking a year away from school.안녕하세요, Emily입니다. 미술을 공부하고 있고 지금은 잠시 학교를 쉬고 있습니다.
I work on the direction, design, writing, and everyday decisions behind OVEN.OVEN에서는 전체 방향과 디자인, 문장, 그리고 제품을 만들면서 생기는 크고 작은 결정들을 함께 보고 있어요.
I tend to care about things that are easy to overlook — whether a sentence sounds natural, whether a screen feels too busy, or whether something is pleasant enough to open again tomorrow.문장이 자연스러운지, 화면이 너무 복잡하지 않은지, 내일 또 열어보고 싶은 느낌인지처럼 쉽게 지나칠 수 있는 부분을 오래 보는 편입니다.
I'm learning most of this by making it. For now, that feels like a good way to work.대부분은 직접 만들면서 배우고 있습니다. 지금은 그 방식이 꽤 마음에 듭니다.
I'd like OVEN to become a collection of apps people choose to keep.OVEN에서 만든 앱들이 사람들의 휴대폰에 오래 남았으면 합니다.
Not because they are loud, but because they earn a place.눈에 띄어서가 아니라, 계속 쓸 이유가 있어서요.
