Joining should be easy, but leaving should not be difficult either. Your account and its data can be deleted from inside the app.가입하는 건 쉬운데 탈퇴하는 건 어려운 앱을 별로 좋아하지 않았어요. 그래서 F1ow에서는 계정과 관련 데이터를 앱 안에서 직접 삭제할 수 있도록 만들었습니다.
Why this exists
I liked watching F1, but race weekends sometimes felt strangely quiet when I watched them alone.F1을 좋아하면서도 가끔 혼자 레이스를 보고 있으면 조금 아쉽다고 느꼈어요.
I wanted a little place where people watching the same session could gather, talk, guess what might happen next, and react to the same moments together.같은 시간에 같은 장면을 보고 있는 사람들이 한곳에 모여서 이야기하고, 다음 결과를 괜히 예상해보고, 좋아하는 팀을 같이 응원할 수 있으면 좋겠다고 생각했습니다.
That small idea became F1ow.그렇게 만든 첫 번째 앱이 F1ow예요.
F1ow started from a simple wish: I wanted race weekends to feel a little more connected.F1ow는 레이스 주말을 조금 더 함께 즐길 수 있으면 좋겠다는 마음에서 시작했습니다.
At first, it was something I was making around the way I personally enjoyed watching F1. But as more people began opening F1ow during actual race weekends, it slowly became more than an idea on my screen.처음에는 제가 F1을 보면서 필요하다고 느꼈던 것들을 하나씩 만들어보는 데서 출발했어요. 그러다 실제 레이스 주말마다 F1ow를 찾아오는 사람들이 조금씩 생기면서, 화면 안에 있던 아이디어가 점점 하나의 서비스가 되어가는 걸 느끼게 됐습니다.
That changed the way I looked at the app.그때부터 이 앱을 바라보는 마음도 조금 달라졌어요.
There are still many things I want to improve, and many ideas I have not had the chance to build yet. But I like that F1ow is growing together with the people who use it.아직 고치고 싶은 것도 많고, 미처 만들지 못한 기능도 많습니다. 그래도 사람들이 사용하는 모습과 함께 F1ow가 조금씩 자라는 과정이 저는 꽤 좋습니다.
I hope that, little by little, it can become a familiar place people naturally open when race weekend comes around.언젠가는 레이스 주말이 오면 자연스럽게 한 번 열어보게 되는 곳이 되었으면 해요.
