Why this exists
Poker was fun, but learning it felt harder than it needed to be.포커는 재미있는데, 제대로 배워보려고 하면 갑자기 어려운 말과 표가 정말 많아졌어요.
After a hand was over, I often wanted a simple way to go back and understand why one decision felt right and another one did not.한 핸드가 끝나고 나서 “아까 그 선택은 왜 별로였지?”를 편하게 다시 볼 수 있으면 좋겠다고 생각했습니다.
So I started thinking about a poker app that felt less like studying and more like practicing. TOMATO came from that idea.공부한다는 느낌보다, 직접 해보고 틀리고 다시 해볼 수 있는 앱. TOMATO는 거기서 시작했어요.
I do not think one app can make someone instantly good at poker.앱 하나를 쓴다고 갑자기 포커를 잘하게 된다고 생각하지는 않아요.
But I do think it can make practicing a little easier to start.대신 연습을 시작하는 일이 조금 덜 귀찮아질 수는 있다고 생각합니다.
If TOMATO helps someone look at one hand again instead of simply wondering what went wrong, that already feels worthwhile to me.한 핸드를 그냥 넘기지 않고 “왜 그랬지?” 하고 한 번 더 돌아보게 만들어준다면, 그것만으로도 TOMATO를 만든 이유는 충분할 것 같아요.
